Montana Watch: Bryn Renner

As a part of the selection process in naming roughly 100 nominees for the 2008 Joe Montana Quarterback of the Year award, consideration was given to all-around athletic achievement. Perhaps no quarterback embodies the word achievement as well as Bryn Renner.
 
Bryn Renner (West Springfield HS)

A multi-sport athlete at West Springfield High School, located in Springfield, Virginia, Bryn Renner excels in all phases as a competitor.

The six-foot-four, 190-pound senior signal caller has given a verbal commitment to continue his career as a quarterback at the University of North Carolina.

Renner is also a potential draft pick in Major League Baseball in the summer of 2009. He is planning to play baseball for the Tar Heels.

As a junior, Renner led the Washington D.C. area in scoring by averaging 26.8 points per game in basketball.

Renner has experienced many great achievements in his high school athletic career, but none more satisifying than playing quarterback.

And Renner played the positon very well.

As a two-year starter at West Springfield High School, Renner compiled the following statistics, honors, and success.
